Earthdance is the world's greatest and largest dance party for peace. On September 15 2007 over 200 000 people in more than 50 nations in over 340 locations will come together for the 11th annual Earthdance celebration. - The 10th year in South Africa.

Independent Earthdance events in venues around the planet join in celebrating life and love in this global dance event. Together we unite in a common vision for a peaceful and harmonious future on planet Earth.

At 1 am South African time (4pm Pacific Std Time), DJs on every dance floor play the track "Prayer for Peace", so Earthdance participants unite in one mind with others all around the world.

The proceeds of each Earthdance event are donated to charities. This year the theme is "Honouring the Waters"
