When I met with Credo Mutwa, the visionary, author and Sanusi (Chief Sangoma) in South Africa some years ago at Naledi which was then his home and where he and his family lived for many years, I remember his words which inspired me greatly :

"Dance is used for many purposes - all of them positive! In the old days there were massive migrations along exactly the same migration paths year after year. The animals were actually migrating along powerful ley lines and reacted as if the earth is singing to them. These migrations vibrated the earth. Nowadays the natural migration paths have been disturbed, so we need to dance.
By dancing you scratch the earth where it is always itchy!? Through movement the earth comes alive, heals itself and in turn heals you!"

Well I know we did that - we tickled the earth and energized those ley lines. In Honouring the Waters we created a mindfulness around the planet's seas, rivers and all bodies of water. Please be vigilant and respectful whenever you use this precious life-giving liquid and be aware of how you and others treat the earth's waters. Teach others to do the same. Continue to Honour the Water everytime you drink, bath or swim by blessing it and giving thanks for its cleansing and sustenance.
Everyone who was present and tuned in agreed that it was the most powerful and incredible link up ever experienced. I sure felt it and feel blessed to know that we JOHANNESBURG - GAUTENG united with millions around the world and connected in thought and intent to light up our wonderful planet….to bless mother earth with peace and love.

I urge you to dance often, laugh much and hold that peace in your heart. When you are faced with challenges or traumas, recapture the power of that moment and remember who you truly are!

Go in peace and live the love...

See you next year!
